Hailing from Hawaii, Lilian Maluo (Class of 1955) was a fierce, high-scoring forward. She was identified as the freshman star her first year on the team in 1951. According to the Miss Recordia, Lilian was known as the team’s “cover girl,” because every time she took a shot, she’d shout for her teammates to cover her.

Lilian was the sports editor for the Miss Recordia and served as the president of the Misericordia Athletics Association (MAA). In her final game at Misericordia, Sister Annunciata Merrick presented Lilian with a traditional Hawaiian lei in recognition of her excellent record on the court.
